So far my favorite essay has been Marco Vassi’s “Beyond Bisexuality”. In a book all about labels and their short-comings, this is the first one that gripped me as a queer person in 2022. My first real intro to queerness involved me taking on a bisexual label, and I’m glad I did or I would not be here today. But this essay may be the first to talk me into giving it up.
