For some reason I just cannot get into this book. It's starting off rather slow compared to the last one. I think it must be the fact that it's a male character, or something. It's going really fast plot-wise (things are already getting messed up) but the characters aren't being as developed as those of the last book. Hopefully this changes..

The book is getting better (tho things are actually getting worse for Alex and his family)! The pace is moving along pretty well too. I'm happy that I decided to stick with this one.
