I have no idea if this book is good, but the latch on the cover is actually a bad one, lol. It's too shallow. You can tell because the line from the top of the cheek to the bottom is dimpled in the middle near the baby's mouth. It should be one round, unbroken line, like part of a circle. Also, latches should be asymmetrical, with more of the areola below the breast being taken into the baby's mouth than above. This looks more like a bullseye. It wouldn't surprise me if this mom was in pain at some point on her breastfeeding journey. Another thing is hard to tell in this picture, but the angle of the corner of the mouth (not of the lips) should be very close to 180 degrees. It's hard to tell for me if that's happening in this picture. The baby's nose is touching the breast, which is good. Hope everything goes well, been praying. Come back to this comment if you have trouble breastfeeding later! <3 Despite all the flaws of the latch, I have always thought over the years that this was a beautiful photo.
