I don’t know, I reckon Kipps could have had a better moment to shine there.

Rereading this sequence made me recall the first time I read it, even remembered a sentence word for word. And that is good stuff.

George giving Kipps the goggles is literally the cutest thing.

“We can hardly diss someone on the grounds that they turned down cake, George.”
“You bet we can. In my eyes, refusing cake is an immoral act.”
