..but also that the majority of people have agreed to not kill the zombies because they used to be related to someone. Now, I'm not saying people wouldn't feel this way, but for the civilization as a whole to agree not to kill (easily) these threats to their safety due to sentimentality and instead pay people to do what should be done on a large scale in private is ridiculous. It has gotten better, but is still "meh"

I started reading this around midnight so maybe my opinions were slightly influenced by drowsiness, but my initial impression was not a positive one. I'm generally skeptic of really anything zombie-related due to the stories overall stupidity... Not the zombie part, but how they are dealt with, and this was no different.
