Like most people I made it about 2/3 of the way. I was hoping something would change, some sense of story would emerge... I visited the fan sites that explain every page, every footnote. I watched DFW clips on YT. I ruminated on his suicide. I became depressed. There is no meaning to be found. Not in this book, not in life. Just despair. Infinite despair.
