I usually enjoy "ordinary girl meets prince and falls in love" stories, but so far I'm not liking this one much. Lani has low self-worth, and feels she's not good enough for the prince... How does that make sense when her best (ordinary) friend married the prince's brother and became a princess? We'll see if it gets any better.
