This really looks promising. Though I need to avoid recipes based on bacon, tofu, or non-obvious types of fish, there still are a lot of interesting recipes left.

The author has a really unorthodox approach to pork, for a Jew. Honestly, a lot of appealing recipes in this book require kinds of fish totally inaccessible in my part of Europe, but even more require lots of bacon. Which my husband cannot eat. So.
