Interesting enough, but quite hard to read for me because of the large amount of unknown words - I could probably read it much more quickly if this was the German version of the book, but it's ok, but it's ok as a one-off and the story itself is interesting enough and so is the description of the characters (as far as I get it, lol)

Much more *my* type of writing style than the Allingham book I read before even though I can't always decipher the dialect bits of the rural people, but hopefully, there won't be too much of that
