Jesus of Nazarene was another in a long line of Jewish rebels who defied the Roman empire. He was born in Nazarene, not Bethlehem. Decades after his death, Israel openly declared war on Rome in the Jewish Revolution. For this, they were annihilated. Still, modern rebels can learn a lot from the Jewish Revolution. Jesus was probably very poor and illiterate. These are some things I am learning from this great book.
