While I love Derr's work, one thing that never ceases to irritate me is her overuse of a certain type of sentence structure. "Rolling his eyes, he strode into the bathroom..." "Returning to the bathroom, he combed his hair..." "Blowing out an irritated breath, he turned on his heel..." This is all from one page...it gets really annoying. So many actions.
