i've read almost the entire collection of Jack Reacher novels but I must say The Visitor is the least compelling of all.. im three chapters into the book and not hooked at all, sadly.. more of a struggle to continue, mostly "for old times sake" rather than usual grip from the get go. will go on though and see if it picks up. so far a lot of repeating the same phrases,useless surrounding descriptions..annoying
