I said I'd take my time with this book, and I have but like, it's so good that that's clearly over.

I have to admit it took me a minuto to fully get into it (to be fair I've been reading romance non-stop for a year), but now that Nyktos revealed himself, I'm enjoying the book a whole lot more.

Also can I just point out that in certain ways, to me Sera feels more like Casteel and Nyktos like Poppy. I mean of course Sera has a lot of similarities to Poppy but the other way around crosses my mind more.

"I am Nyktos, ruler of the shadowlands, the Primal of death" AHHH!!!! can you hear mE SCREAMING !!!!!!!!!

Chapters 12 & 13 are pure excellence!!!! Especially Chapter 12, it's them just being the all soft for each other and I'm HERE for it. I love 'Ash' (I see you boy, and I know who you really are) and Sera so much, I can't wait to read more!!!!!

I feel like reading this series before FBAA brings an element of surprise but know FBAA already makes everything so much more exiting when I read something I know about

I'm going to take my time with this one so I can truly understand all the details bUT, I'll say that I see the parallels with Poppy and Cas (which I love), and I find it funny that Sera still doesn't know his name after spending almost two chapters with him lol.

Okay, had to stop here. I'm reading so many things that I want to tab, so I'll continue tomorrow but I can already tell I'm gonna love Sera. Also, I'm seeing all the parallels with Poppy and Cas, I just hope everything works out in the end (for everyone I love)
