You know the whole ‘show, not tell’ thing? I feel like there’s a lot of telling here. There’s lots of quirky little extra notes from the narrator and it would be fun if there were maybe half as many. It just feels like the editor needed to be a lot heavier handed, or maybe have staged an intervention, idk. Still, I don’t HATE it.
