Ok, NOW I'm brave enough to keep reading this book. I stop because I was too much piss off, and it's dangerous if I read when I'm so angry. Why I was so piss off? Cory, main character, saw a murdering and didn't react, freaking out BUT having horny thoughts about the killer. So I know the dead guy deserved, but he don't! WTF he liked? Be turn on watching brain getting out another human being head???

OH THE JOY!!!! Cory is now officially a pimp! He is a Warden! Beautiful the vows... To never explore the half demon, BUT they are allowed to use the half demon as a whore/escort/porn actor. Ok, that's not explore their assigment.. Nope... Probably obligating one of the half Demon's cook is.... sex abuse is allowed, cook dinner NO! Yep... THAT must be considered abuse...

Bookwatcher Let me explain it in a better way: Cory watch this murder, the killer (Blanco, and I really hate him) take him in his limousine to explain somethings, and Cory is attracted, he liked Blanco.
Ok, how can he desire the killer of another human being if he don't know that Blanco did a good thing, because the dead guy was a sick bastard (we readers know it)? He is turn on just because Blanco can touch him? WTF? Blanco just shoot in the head of another human being! OMG! Cory is NOT a hero I want to read more about! (hard to avoid, he is the main character!)

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ Tristan is the only really decent character, he's so lovely! No one deserves him :(

Bookwatcher yes I exactly what I'm thinking
Blanco is a sick bastard, and his constant controll using the computer camera is something I can't accept very well. I'm imagining this old guy, perverted, masturbating and seeing Tristan and Cory having sex.
Not a pretty image in my mind
:-\

Blanco after leaving a kid, Tristan, in the hands of an abuser and NEVER EVER thinking in check the kid, became someone I can't see... and he is always present in the book, so is very hard to ignore this sicko

I hate Blanco, Cory is a slut, and is really only because I had it free and promise a review I'll finish it. I would never give a cent for this book... too many characters that made me angry

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ I think there should have been more explanation because, let's pretend Blanco and Cori don't exist, the concept of the book is hot: a sex demon that must be tamed and a "forced" pairing with a caring person that should take care of you, and the sex turning to love. Cori is selfish and Blanco is sick and he's not groveling enough. I think he should have payed for not being a good Ward, maybe while in the attempt of saving Tristan. THere's a point in the book where this should have happened, but I don't want to spoil it, we'll talk about it when you've finished.

Bookwatcher another huge thing I really don't get
Ward
manu, please help me here... Cory will see Blanco shooting in the heard of Laurence. Ok, so he will hear someone use the word "Ward" in that moment and he will call Blanco "the ward" even before they will be in the limo
did you notice something?
If he don't know what a Ward is why he is calling Blanco "the Ward"... let's pretend someone used another word, like "Coglione"... Blanco would be "Coglione" from that moment on... I certainly would laugh, and all italians too, if something like that happens. Understand another problem? Sometimes the narrator know things they should not know.

BTW Blanco is a coglione :-P

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ Yes to your last line :)

I don't really remember Ca :-/ At the end it seems that Blaco recognizes that Cori is a powerful Sensitive, so I think Cori feels it too, but if he calls Blanco Ward rightaway, well that's wrong... I can't check it right now.

Bookwatcher :-)
no problem Manu, it's just something I forget to ask before
Happens the first time they will meet, even before Blanco take Cory in his limo
someone call Blanco Ward and Cory used it, because he is the narrator and you are reading his thoughts. It's strange... I don't call "coglione" one after the first time I heard it, just because someone used that word.

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ Ok, now I get it! I think Cori was trying to seduce Blanco, in a way. You know, he's the ultimate "leccaculo"
