i am annotating this book so heavily oh my goodness

this book is so unbelievably good

i’m annotating this fully which is why it’s taking forever but holy duck this book is totally going on my favs and it literally feels like i’m reading diary of a wimpy kid in some way?? but like holden is so amazingly relatable and the fact that he was written 70 years ago is even more shocking… also like he’s gay… right? nobody calls their roommate handsome that many times

this is like reading the inner monologue of a teen with adhd. this 1950s rep is super weird to relate to but ok
