There is a lot of pathos in this section of the book because the author is trying to tell the reader that sometimes the people around you persuade you to go to a college that you don't necessarily was to go to.

There were lots of logos with lots of statistics on how many people get scholarships which is not very many and when those people get scholarships, it does not pay very much. Only about a 4th of college attendance.
