At this point, I am only forcing myself to finish this book thinking that I could at least gain some useful historical information about the early church.

But otherwise, this is an obviously very biased book. I would not be surprised if Tom Bissell curse God and Christianity here as I continue to read.

Obviously, this is from an outsider's POV without any intention and attempt to "understand" from an insider's POV.
