It turns out that Tavara is not stuck behind in skekSa/The Mariner's behemoth ship piloting the unconscious Tae as I first surmised, but is, in fact, free with Naia. Guess it is a Maudra-daughters' road trip.

I have great news! I'm the one who asked the library to purchase this book. And I'm the only one I thought would ever read it. But there's someone who isn't me that now has put this book on hold which means I have to return it to the library. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that there is someone else who likes this book. I will check the book out after they are done with it and resume reading. Yay library!

And now we have learned the history of the Skeksis and the Mystics as told at the end of the Dark Crystal movie, but in more detail than I ever was able to discern from the movie. I'm glad to have read it here.

Oh look! Gurjin who hasn't been present for an entire book suddenly knows everything that has gone on in the previous book, including that the behemoth is a ship, that it is the property of a skeksis, and that the skeksis in question is named skekSa. Do I detect the subtle sign of a Plot Hole Fairy?

Oh never mind. It was just a dream. Instead, it appears that everyone AND Gurjin are in the behemoth, but in different places.

Hello and welcome to my reading blog for this book. I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-J who is responsible for the fact that the library bought this book. I'm the first person to check it out. You see, years ago, I found the first book in the series at the library and read it. They never voluntarily bought the rest of the books in the series. So I keep telling them to. And then they do. I have helped humanity.
