Book XI: Wounds
Revisiting this after a year and let me just say the audiobook is the way to go. Also I thought this book was the one where <spoiler>Patroclus would don Achilles' armor and pretend to be him and then die and I was so ready to cry, but alas, we still have a way to go.</spoiler>

Book II: The Multitude
List of ships does NOT hit no matter what version you read. I'm also pleasantly surprised with how much more I'm picking up in this version. E.g. realising that the whole narrative begins by breaking the fourth wall as Homer requests assistance from the Muses to tell the story of Achilles. Also I just finished reading the intro and it made tear up seeing how much Wilson loves this story

Book I: The Quarrel
Nahh, I'm so gone. I forgot how much of a whiny ass bitch Achilles was. Also the fact that dog-face was one of the most common insults SENT me. I'm gonna be using it from now on.

Ok, so very unfortunately this has become quite the bore to read. I've found that reading it on double speed with my eyes and just kinda like let the words wash over you and the images to form organically in your mind i the best option.
