As an editor, it's tough to find books I can read simply for pleasure. I hoped I could get lost in 'Dangerous Beauty'. I really want to like this book. I haven't had a tougher time getting into a book since 'Cosmoplis.' There are so many words and not a lot being said. The tense changes and lack of commas, inconsistent characters, and almost too conversational narrative make this a frustrating read. I will keep reading in hope that the story will overshadow the issues I have with the delivery.
