Oh, so glad you brought this up. I tossed a few bucks in that pot after I finished Stone Houses earlier in the week. I figured A) it's always nice to do something unexpected for someone else, especially if asked in a manner that doesn't include obligation. B) I borrowed his books, so he hadn't made much of anything off my reading them (except the pittance, or whatever, Amazon gives on a borrow...and a review, I guess). I wanted to bring it to people's attention too, but I don't have the, ahem, rabid following you do. As I've said before, you rock!

It's really cool of you to share this, Julio. I've not read his stuff yet, but I hope he makes it to the con. I can certainly relate to the feelings in the post. I think it's good for all of us to pay it forward however we can :)
