Holy mackerel!! I'm in the final stretch of the "final" book of the Commonwealth / Void / Fallers heptalogy.
Truth be told, at certain times in this 7 book / 2+ month journey, I kept going because:
a) I'm a "completionist"
b) I've been known to be incredibly stubborn
"Night Without Stars" has (thus far) proven to be a very worthy reward for my persistence.

* note especially for Phil - sex scenes crept back in this book. *However* they're not nearly as "wtf Peter, why?!?" as in the beginning of the Void books.

Good to know Emily! I may give the rest of the Void series a go then. I really like Peter's work, but the wtf sex scenes were a turn off. Glad you stuck the series out!

Honestly Phil, I think that these last two "Fallers" books were the ones that I've most enjoyed, especially in comparison to the Void series.
