The next story is a similar to the last except with elephants.m after reading this book I have discovered my definition of adventure. I think adventure has to be something new to the person adventuring. Every adventure is going to be different nothing can be the exact same. For reading I think the first stories were more interesting to me because it was an adventure to read since I hadnt read about some of the topics

the story about the lions finally ended. the whole point of their trip was to investigate man eating lions. the author did nothing to further any previously done research. All that they basically came away with is that in nature your part of the food chain and that's that. you have to understand your place its simply survive.

the portion i am reading currently is extremely dull compared to the rest of the book so far. basically it is just the story of some old guys that go on a paid safari in Tsavo Africa. the see some lions and take some pictures and do their best to make it sound like an insane journey

after reading about the holocaust cave survivors. i read about some of the first special forces teams in Afghanistan and what they did there.this book is interesting because there is no story line out side of the chapters there all separate. for example right after the special forces work. the next story is a much less riveting tale an a lion safari in Africa.

the bones in the last chapter turned out to be Everett Reuss'. hearing about Everett's life was extremely interesting. at the age of 16 he got up left home and wandered the wilderness with to mules and some gear and paint. the next chapter is about holocaust survivors that live underground without light for almost two years straight. its crazy.

This book is truely inspiring. I so far read stories on freedom fighters against the Taliban, doctors treating an Ebola breakout in Uganda, an analysis of the mind when one gets lost in the wild, and now a story of the discovery of Everett Ruess' grave.
