Yes, another civil war book, about the same area. Right now I am about the early guerrilla fighting in southwest Missouri, especially around Springfield after the Battle of Wilson's Creek, and after the Confederate Army took over Springfield, which just motivated them to commit more crimes against civilians in the area.

I am currently reading bout some of the atrocities committed by both sides of the war, such as the events for . Farm, where a scavenging party of Union soldiers were ambushed by Confederate bushwhackers and brutally killed, sometimes, even though they were completely unarmed
