Am reading this for 2nd time as part of Lisa of Troy's Animal Farm Readalong.
Verdict so far: I basically find it impossible to imagine how communist regimes could survive long-term while this text exists - a brilliant, incisive mockery of their deepest failings and innermost contradictions.
