I think I read two whole pages that did not contain the word "brash", or any of its forms. This book is painful to read at times.

So far I've learned that KH was brash... Can anyone tell me what is meant "upper-middle-class WASP"?

Wouldn't be reading this if it wasn't the current book club selection. It's a bit of a slow read... I hope it gets better.
