Keen to hear your thoughts, it’s on my to read list!!

I’m enjoying it so far! I’m about half-way through. It’s likely the least emotional political autobiography I’ve read so far- that means Julia focusses less on herself and instead gives a more pragmatic recount of her time in office (which I’m really enjoying). She describes the challenges of minority government, negotiations with state government, the relationship between government and media, and interweaves what she sought to achieve, where she succeeded, and some reflections on where she looks back in hindsight and thinks she would respond differently.

She comes off as very matter-of-fact, with a touch of dry humour and a good dose of humility, without it being false humility. I already respected her, but reading this has increased that respect.
