Okay, now the author is getting basic things wrong, like talking about the magic mirror in Sleeping Beauty… it was in Snow White, but that doesn’t fit her dreaming narrative. If she got that wrong, how much other mythology she references is wrong as well?

Okay, so this is very monotonous. The author would have been better off writing a template spell and then explaining different ways to modify it to each purpose. There is no explanation given as to why she selects specific circle casting colors, candle colors, herbs, strings, cloths, papers, etc. The spells are very repetitive, the rhyming couplets are cheesy as hell, and some are just downright ridiculous.

So far, this is decent but not fantastic. It’s a little dated in language used (written in 2000) and it’s a basic spell book for the most part. Very US-centric.
