Fabulous book to understand what life is and was like in Russia and the prolonged difficulties of switching from communism to a market economy made possible because of Yeltsin who worked 16 hours days and diligently stood up against the Communists assuring the transition to a Market/Capitalist economy. An excellent book to understand daily life in Russia done with superb research by the author.
