I now know the reason Melinda's friends hate her and why she hates "him" and why she hates her life. Melinda got raped by "him" at a party and called the police which showed up at the party and all of her friends who didn't even know what happened hated her for calling. If only Melinda could find her voic and tell someone, anyone, what happened that night. Her parents don't even know!

Heather; Melinda's only friend now has found a new group and has completely left Melinda. I feel really bad for her but Melinda is so unmotivated that I can't blame heather for going off on Melinda.
