I would probably change the title of my book to Dragon's Era or New Darkling. The Ix tried to make an evil darkling but they failed and now they are trying to make it again. That's why I would change the title to New Darkling. The reason I wanted the changed the title to Dragon's Era is because the last twelve dragons might wake up and David is trying to help.

If I take out the main character (David) the story will change a lot. For example, I make David die the Ix will come to kill the humans and make dragons. The dragons will rule the Earth again. Without David's everyone will die or be slaves of the Fain and Ix. Only David can save them from destruction.
