Currently I am at the chapter during the Invasion of Springfield by Brigadier General John S. Marmaduke, later governor of the state of Missouri, to retake the city from the Union army during the winter of 1862-63. Right now this would be the third time the Confederates the would try to invade and maybe even capture and hold the city.

Right now, I am at the second half of the Civil War, where The Union held the city until the end of the war. After the Assault of General Marmaduke, there weren't anymore major battles, but only minor skirmishes between southern guerrilla fighters and Union troops.
