A girl named Katniss lives in district 12, which is one of the places being harshly ruled by dictators. Every district has to enter 2 kids in for a competition, the Hunger Games, which is a battle to the death to survive and kill other people, if you're the last one standing, you win. Katniss's sister, Prim, is drawn to compete, but then Katniss says she will switch places with Prim (be Tribute). Katniss has to surv

The theme of my book, "The Hunger Games" is "Survival of the fittest", because you have to be strong, fast, and smart to win. If you aren't strong, or fast, or smart, you will most likely be killed.

My book, "The Hunger games", is told from a 1st person point of view. I know this, because it uses "I" and other 1st person terms. It helps my understanding of the story, by having Katniss explain everything in her point of view as apposed to Peeta, or Effie Trinket. For example, Effie Trinket would have not included the story about Peeta giving Katniss bread, and Peeta probably would have told the story a little dif

The line "I can't let him get in my head!" from "The Hunger Games", propels the action by having Katniss try to not let Peeta's niceness, get in the way of her winning the games.

In "The Hunger Games" I infer that Katniss will not kill Peeta. Katniss is grateful because he gave her bread when she and her family were starving. He is also very kind to her. I can also infer that Peeta won't kill Katniss because he is so kind.

One of the Themes in "The Hunger Games" is "survival of the fittest". You have to be strong, fast, and smart to win. It is kind of like that in the real world too. You have to be strong, fast, and smart to survive. If you don't, you will be bullied, worn down, and lose. That is how life and "The Hunger Games" are similar.

In the Vindico, kids were kidnapped by supervillains and had to become supervillains also,(do things they didn't want to do). In the Hunger Games, kids are entered into a drawing to go and kill other kids to get food and for fortune (do things they don't want to do). In both of the books, kids have to do things that they didn't want to do. They both also have to kill people that they don't want to kill. In The Vindic

In "The Hunger Games", Katniss takes her sister Prim's place in the Hunger Games, because she knows that Prim will die right away. If she did not do this, Prim probably would have died right off the bat. I just started the book, so I am not that far, but I think the theme could be "Help your loved ones".
