Omama. “So I will begin where I saw them first— when from out of a deep mist, in the valley of Kashmir, began to emerge figures that looked larger than life-size and moved effortlessly like the panther. These were the raiders. In silence they crept forward, carefully but with ease, in the dark, across broken ground and fields, to close in upon the enemy.”
