Nick and Marta got caught sneaking into ms. starch's house and they hid in the chest and they got carried in a truck and then the guy heard them talking and got mad and then he brought them to the mall because they asked him to.

I like the book a lot so far. but its called "scat" and the cover has a cat or a panther on it. all I know in the book so far is that the police are trying to figure out who lit the forest fire in the black vine swamp. I'm just not far enough in the book.

Mrs. Starch is a weird woman. She stuffed a rat and named it after a student she hated. Also Smoke came back to school in a tux and tie. He is acting surprisingly polite and well behaved. Smoke might be on to something.

Mrs. Starch Hasn't returned yet. People are getting worried.

I think mrs. Starch made it out of the forest fire ok. They didn't really know why they were happy she was back, but probably because she did a brave thing to go back into the starting forest fire and she spent the night. "Even witches have their good days".
