I dropped the book for about 3 weeks, maybe a month; wanted to never pick it up ever again, but I feel responsible to know what happens to Jude later in the book. It's 50/50 so far, very curious to read about male friendship and the costs of growing up/apart as friends but also there's a feeling that something is lacking, could be the translation itself but I highly doubt it.
