Ronnie's father dies, and she sings at his funeral which touched everyone's hearts. Will and Ronnie made up, and Will decides to attend Columbia to be closer to Ronnie.
This ending was a tear jerker, because I had no idea that Ronnie's dad was actually going to die, and the way Ronnie handled it really touched me. Plus, I was overjoyed when Ronnie and Will got back together.

The turtle eggs hatch two days after Ronnie wished them too. Ronnie has been bonding more with her father, which is surprising. Since the eggs hatched, Ronnie's feelings have changed, she has actually enjoyed this summer.
I predict that Ronnie and her dad will get even closer, and Ronnie will not want to go back home with her mom.

Ronnie looks absolutely flawless and Will is very surprised. At Will's next volleyball game, Ronnie unexpectedly shows up and they make up again because of Megan's (Will's sister) advice to Ronnie about love.

While walking on the beach, Will explained to Ronnie how his little brother Mikey died in a car crash. Now, Will and his sister wear a bracelet that says IMTF which means, "In my thoughts forever."
I was deeply touched by how much Will missed Mikey, and how his family mourned. I loved this chapter because it reminded me how blessed I am to have such wonderful siblings.

I'm really annoyed how WIll's mother does not like Ronnie, just because she doesn't act like a perfect lady. Her character only sees the outside of people, not the factors that really matter, which I hate.

As Ronnie is reading her book, she notices that the aquarium didn't put up the cage to guard the turtle nest from raccoons. Ronnie runs to the beach to scare away the raccoons, and she is furious that the aquarium didn't protect the eggs.
I predict that she sleeps at the beach all night to protect the turtle eggs. I'm starting to love Ronnie's personality...

Ronnie just spilled her soda on a girl who ends up being her friend, Blaze. Ronnie just met Blaze's boyfriend Marcus and they almost ran into trouble with the police, but they ran away.
I hate Marcus' character because he seems like an awful man. The way he talks to girls, and the way that Nicholas Sparks describes him makes me feel uncomfortable.
