I'm finally getting a little time to sit down and read! So far I'm incredibly impressed by the quality of the writing. The fact that the story is about an English poet in Spain during the Spanish Civil War (of course I'm thinking about Lorca, who's already been mentioned several times) is really appealing to me, as I fell in love with the country and the poet when traveled to Spain for the first time at age 15.
