The star and queen of the day was Mrs. Izetta Jewel Brown, of W VA, a widow lady in a white dress. Mrs. Brown is very far, indeed, from homely, and in any other city than San Francisco, where lovely gals are as plentiful as false-faces in Philadelphia, she would pass as downright handsome.
