Oh man...this was just starting to move along a bit and then...to no one's surprise...Diana once again loses her brain and makes a stupid decision so the author can both kill any agency she had begun to develop and play up the damsel in distress trope to bring back the jealous vampire blood rage. Once again the female protagonist is nothing but a plot device for the male "hero" to come in and get shit done. Sigh.

Slowly pushing my way through thus. Determined to have it done before it comes due at the library. I love long "boring" books, give me all the history and details and prose, but man, this one drags.
