Finally, some progress. We learn that the Game is set on Earth, and the gamers are actually from the planet Tygon. The Game is run by Mainframe, which avatars/people from Earth feel the manifestation of and come to think of it as "God". Interesting...

Fast-paced. the first few chapters were more of an explanation about what The Game is, who Kyle is as a player, the rise and fall of his ex-girlfriend Alex, and the inner workings of the Game over the years. Not much of a story going on right now. Hopefully the story will pick up soon.
