I really hate it when a child is being spoken to by an adult and is treated like a baby. For example in this book Atticus is trying to sell Jem the story that there is no violence in Maycomb. Atticus says, "No, we don't have mobs and that kind of nonsense in Maycomb. (196). This shows how Atticus is trying to protect Jem from all of the bad things in the world.

People can seem really mean on the outside but when you really get to know that person you will see that there is not only bad in that person but there is also a lot of good. Take Boo Radley for exam ole on page 92 he gave Scout his blanket when she was cold. This shows me that there is some good to Boo Radley.

Calpurnia is the kind of person who does her job the right way, they do it correctly and with great respect. Instead of doing their job just to get a pay check at the end of every week. In the text if says, "I admired the ease and grace with which she handled heavy loads of dainty things." (305). This was said about Calpurnuia and it showed me that she is respectful and professional.

It is very common that a person can take a certain situation and blow it way out of proportion. By this I mean that people often overreact. For example the text states, "... when Mr. Ewell approached him, cursed him, spat on him, and threatened to kill him." (291). This shows me that Mr. Ewell is one of those people who overreacts to certain situations. From this you can infer that Mr. Ewell is immature.

A lot of people care a lot more about themselves than anybody else. That is a perfect example of Mr. Raymond. The book says that Mr. Raymond asks the children if they will tell anybody about what he did. (266). This shows me that Mr. Raymond doesn't care a bout what the right thing to do is be just wants what is best for himself.

Mayella is currently walking up to the witness stand to be questioned. The book says that when she was walking up to the stand to take an oath that she looked very "fragile." (238). This showed me that Mayella may be trying to put on a little show and might lie a bit.
