This isn't a good romance. There has been no chemistry or connection between Declan and the heroine beyond Declan saying sorry to the heroine one million times in a million ways and berating the mc club for what happened to her in these long monologues over and over again.

What's crazy to me is I think Declan is the love interest. Why is the author having him be the one doing all the grovelling? He was overseas when the shit went down. It wasn't his fault. Maybe this is me being used to reading about anti H's but I think it should've been Jay being the one to do all the grovelling. His redemption arc would've been a more interesting story.

It's like this book consists entirely of conversations. I'm starting to skim. I can't do it.

The monologues won't end. Anytime a character talks they go on this long ass monologue. why? This had the potential to be an emotionally moving story but this is starting to detract from it.

This book has so much dialogue. I've never read a book with this much dialogue in my life. It's starting to get overwhelming.

I can't get this book out of my head. I feel like I need to read it as quickly as possible so I can be done with it.

Seriously, the characters won't stop talking out all these deep feels. This isn't normal. Especially for the guys. They keep on explaining how they understand how Ever was wronged in immense detail. Irl people, especially guys, don't talk about feelings this much. Maybe in an alternative universe. At first it was kinda moving but now it's getting old.

I haven't read any spoilers in reviews but I'm wondering if she ends up with Jay or Declan. I feel Jay makes the most sense for friends to enemies to lovers, but Declan is looking the best right now

The emotions expressed in this are so raw. The only thing is that people don't typically talk things out like this all the time. (When I say all the time, people in this book are talking things out all.the.time). Maybe in a dream world.
