Enjoyed the opening chapters, but the animal abuse stories are hard. Lobotomies and Tuskegee and Nazi disgusting experiments have been really hard to get through.

Everything is intertwined with slavery. Science may have been my last hope in this regard, but this book has shown me how naïve I was.
