It's not just me; this sentence doesn't really make fucking sense:

"These were refugees driven from Croatia in the US authorised ethnic cleansing operations designed to set the stage for partition, the local architect appointed as the military commander of the KLA in May 1999."

I've just read that like, 5 times. Dafuq does it mean? Is it about a local architect? Or a military commander spoken of figuratively as...

Some of these sentences don't make sense. But it's probably me. High brow is an understatement.
