Today I read "The Road Not Taken" this poem was very easy to understand. It was about taking a road and trying to decide what path to go down. I kind of wish the ending would have left you thinking a little more about which path he took and how it affected him. I think it would have added more levels of interest and left you hanging a little more.

Now we read "Mending Wall" by Robert Frost. The thesis of this poem was to live in the present and sometimes you have to change your way of live to be more updated. This poem applies to real life because a lot has changed from the past to the present and we cant keep living like it is the past.

Today we read "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost. I really liked this poem because it was not about someone dying so that was good but also because it had a extremely true lesson that nothing innocent can stay. When you gain knowledge and experience you become less innocent. The poem itself was so beautifully written and sounded really pretty. I am really looking forward to imitating his writing style.

Right now I am reading poems by Robert Frost. I really like his writing because he uses things that we can see and understand but they have a deeper meaning. I am going to keep reading poems by him and I look forward to seeing what other meanings he has hidden in them.
