The Man in the High Castle: 4 stars
Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch: 3.5 stars. This is a little more Vonnegut-weird and less in my wheelhouse. Goes an interesting direction at the end that I appreciated. Well worth 200pp.

through 2/3 volumes. second volume "novels of the 60s," was way better, i thought. 'martian time-slip," "dr. bloodmoney," and "now wait for last year" are all worth finding individually if you're not looking for a collection. these later books are much better than "androids" ('blade runner').

The two stories in this volume have been really great. Martian Time-slip and Dr. Bloodmoney. If you're not into the idea of getting the whole set, Volume 2 by itself would be worth checking out.
