During the middle the night, Pudge is taken from his dorm room, duct taped, and thrown into the lake on campus. Supposedly this is like an initiation to the school; however, Colonel believes that this is something more. If i were Pudge I would have fought back. I would not have just let them tape me up. I would have ran as far as my legs would take me.

We continue to see how different Alaska and pudges's personalities are. Also, their group of friends is planning to take revenge out on the kids who almost drowned pudge in the lake.

Pudge is still really in love with Alaska. He is not smart to continue to live her because she already has a boyfriend. Because pudge is a sucker for Alaska, she convinces him to stay at the school for thanksgiving.

What i think is funny about this part is how Alaska is trying to fix Pudge up with a girl. She acts like this is her job to play matchmaker. If I were Pudge in that situation, i would not want the help. I would do it all on my own.

Miles, known now as pudge, goes to a boarding school. When he meets his roomate he is surprised, he is short but very tough. If i were Pudge, i would be scared because he was someone i just met and i was going to be roomin with some scary person.
