I'm halfway through this book and it hasn't grabbed me yet. It's page after page of robots holding hands on walks and looking at garbage on a beach. I feel like the author was trying to make some point about epistemology but whatever it is is still eluding me. I guess I'm supposed to be interested in whatever secret Irene and Robbert have but they are such one dimensional characters, I really don't care.
